The Working of Google Smartwatch
The android watch by Google consists of multiple sensors that creates a virtual input area on a wearer’s forearm, wrist, or the back of his hand.
You can control your watch or connected device from that area while the camera and accelerometer sensors will be detecting your finger movements. Even the virtual keyboard will be generated on the same area to draft emails or the like.
The patent hints that the watch will be loaded with other innovative features. For example, placing a key on virtual input area will unlock your smartphone and placing a coin with open the calculator.
The crown and strap of the watch are also used for controlling operations of the watch. Pushing the crown inward will make it to function like a normal watch and pushing it outward will transform it into an input device. The rotation of your crown will be controlling cursor of your smartphone.
Moreover, you can change music tracks and can select text by performing swipe gesture on the watch strap. It seems that Google has utilized every single part of the watch.
